I mean, I think that means they are appropriate for their feet in length under the skirt to school or whatever, but in my new school, said, used tights? Are they the same?

Tights go all the way up to the waist. Sox are really three parties, two legs and garters to keep them alive.
Tights are made of one piece.
I think they are nylon stockings, see through, can, in principle, and that corresponds to your skin.
